7 days till NY!

I haven't been there in 2 years, sadly I'm going for one week only :(

there is so much to do, yet my time is limited. This time I'm driving over there, which would be my longest drive after my trip to PA a few months ago. This time I also have a camera...

On a side note, JAPAN NEXT YEAR!! Me and a few friends have finally decided that it's time we go before we have any more responsibilities then we do now. I've actually started studying Japanese, I don't want to be the tourist that goes around saying "Sumimasen, wakaranainodesuga" (sorry, I don't understand) or something like that, right now "nihongo ga sukoshi hanasemasu" (I can speak a little Japanese). I also don't want to have people wait on me to find out what I want to say from a little dictionary or the dictionary in my iPhone. It's just not the same...

So far, I know the Hiragana Syllabary, a little bit of the Katakana one, and a few words here and there in Kanji. I figure if I can learn to read and write it, I can learn it easier, of course I plan on maybe finding someone who speaks Japanese and practice speech with them...

I also think I'm going to quit my job as soon as I find a new one, I'm tired of being a bitter customer service rep.
